Stadtlabor Wittenberg, visual identity, 2023–2025
The platform is focused on participatory processes and urban development in Lutherstadt Wittenberg. The visual concept was conceived as an open framework–adaptable and situational rather than fixed. Iris-printed gradients, as preprinted stationery, defined the visual language and enabled flexible on-site production. Digitally, the gradients were translated into a corresponding visual language, extending the system across media. The fluid colour spectrum introduced a sense of openness and plurality into the public space.
Applications ranged from posters to a website, spatial interventions and social media assets. Newspapers became participatory tools, allowing students of all schools of the city to decide on projects funded through a discretionary budget–positioning communication as part of the process itself. Together with Johannes Spitzer, commissioned by Endboss.
